New Trier Township Congressional Districts

New Trier Township includes parts of the 9th and 10th U.S. Congressional districts. Although this map shows outdated precinct designations (see New Trier Precinct Map for correct precincts), the boundary between the Congressional districts remains as shown below.

The 10th District congressional seat is presently held by Republican Mark Kirk, who will be vacating his office in 2010. The Democratic candidate, Dan Seals, is running a strong race to replace him. The 9th District is represented by six-term Democratic Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky who is running unopposed in 2010.
